Antica Corte al Molino ~ Eno-Agritourism

The Mazzi family has been a producer of wine in Valpolicella for several generations.
At the end of the 80s, Roberto Mazzi, along with his grown children, wanted to follow his other great passion: COOKING, involving his wife FIORELLA.

His sons STEFANO and ANTONIO, always aware of their father's "dream", willingly committed to the cause, considering it a useful way of making their efforts in the vineyard known by serving the wines produced at the table.
With great enthusiasm then, we restored the main house from the 19th century, to offer a romantic place for our guests, in a context that combines past memories and local traditions that come to life in the details. The old mill from the 1600s and the beautiful vaulted wine cellar from the 1700s, add to the wonderful atmosphere.

Our kitchen

For us, hospitality in a farm is sharing the beauty and serenity of the countryside and to have our guests enjoy the typical dishes of the area.
For this reason, at the time of booking, we request those who come to visit to arrive at the same time if possible. This allows us to receive and accompany guests right through to the end of lunch in the best possible way, offering food that is always fresh and made daily.

It starts with the inevitable appetizer of polenta and sopressa veronese (tasty salami typical of the area) with a variety of vegetables seasoned with our extra virgin olive oil. It is served with freshly baked bread with onion, sesame seeds and rosemary.

From the kitchen you can choose from risotto with Amarone wine with radicchio or tastasal (stuffing used to make salami) or typical homemade bigoli or tagliolini pasta.
The seasonings can be meat, vegetables or the characteristic liver or sardines.
We also have a seasonal soup.

The second course is beef stew marinated in Amarone with polenta. Great alternatives are pork neck in sweet wine and apples; fricandò (traditional meat stewed with red sauce and potatoes) or roasted guinea fowl.
The vegetable side dishes are always very tasty.

The cakes made by Fiorella are all to be tasted.

The wines are recommended by the winemakers Stefano and Antonio by bottle or glass.
For a complete ENOGASTRONOMIC experience, you can also choose the MENU’ DEL SOMMELIER: in combination with each course, our 4 typical wines of this extraordinary wine area (Valpolicella Classico; Valpolicella Superiore; Amarone and Recioto rosso) are served and explained.

If you like, you can also visit the charming old mill, cellars to age the wines and even buy our products from the farm.

We have offered all this to our Italian and foreign guests with simplicity and passion for more than twenty years. For the Mazzi family ENO-AGRITOURISM means all this.

Please note that we are open on Saturday evenings and for lunch on Sundays. For groups (up to 45/50 people), we are available by reservation on other days too.
